Newbie question - model naming conventions

The electronics inside the amps (ADH, Power supply etc.) is identical. The current upgrade program replaces all internals to the new v6 hardware. As the inside is the same the sound should be too, but for some reason it isn't.
A 250 Pro is a very good amplifier. If you can get a 250 Pro for a better price than a 220 Pro, go for it! Keep in mind that a 250, 240 and D-Premier are older models which can all be upgraded to 250 Pro.

As a 250 Pro owner, echo ogs comments fully. Truly an audio treat!

I traded the D200 in for a D250 last summer and loved the "Upgrade"!

I was hesitant to spend another $5,000 Canadian on an upgrade so soon after but bit the bullet and went for it. The 250 Pro is a whole new level, extraordinary in my humble estimation.
250 Pro Master, Siltech Anniversary Silver Interconnects and Speakers cables, LINN Majik Streamer, Arcam D37 SACD, Mac-mini with Kazoo, JRiver and tested Roon, Speakers, custom build, SEA Exotics, Chord Hugo, HifiMan H1000's. (home is Vancouver, Canada)
