Power supply noise - standby & when turned off

My experience with two 200s is that there is variability between units. One of mine is completely silent, as far as I can tell, while the other is relatively noisy (audible from a few meters away in a quiet room).

I understand that the noise is caused by a ferrite core in the switch-mode power supply vibrating in such a way that it touches the casework. Presumably whether the noise occurs depends on some fairly tight assembly tolerances.
