I think AIR should be expected to function perfectly with default or commonly-used PC settings and functionality. It definitely is not fixed with my screensaver enabled! In fact the screensaver kicking in was the one thing giving me consistent issues with AIR 2.1.4-beta1. Different users seem to be getting different patterns of behaviour, I guess due to subtleties in different PC set-ups. There would appear to be some commonalities with my screensaver issues and those reported by AlexS which are being triggered by anti-virus activities or system updates kicking in. Are these related? I have no idea, but if we keep reporting definite observations in behaviour to Devialet, then we can only hope that this assists them in producing the 100% robust update of AIR that is needed.
