As you probably know the 'Exclusive mode' is not working form an Apple macbook, so you always using the OS Audio mixer with limitations, I do think that's limiting the hi res streaming. For sure it will all work if you use a wired solution like you have (then you by-pass the audio mixer).

Apple don't play nice with anyone usually, Devialet seem to be following their example…. I dont know much about Meridian, I used to hold them in high regard until I started following MQA….
