Agree with Dr Tone esp if your RoonServer isn't connected to your DAC. Also Roon is actually a native Win Program. That said, if you just want to do it - why not. Personally I steer clear of Linux unless there's a very specific reason to use it. Unless you're really interested in Linux, and preferably reasonably competent in scripting etc, it always seems like far too much hassle to me. Apple nailed Linux with OSX! Everything else is a nightmare in my opinion, the only benefit is it's free. And you can avoid Windows I suppose, so come to think of it maybe it is a good idea!
