Far too sensitive for my liking. You can easily touch the bar and set max, and often just placing your finger on the control to make an adjustment can make it jump up or down before you've intended to move it. iPhones particularly bad. It's ok now because I only use it on small speakers and set their physical controls quite low so 100% is the max I'm happy to listen to. If it were directly connected to the Devialet and in control of its full range I'd be really worried. I'd never let anyone else use it that's for sure!
I have do say if there's one thing Devialet have done right it's the Expert volume control. The physical and the iPhone one. Shame the apps out of date but the rotary knob gives a really nice, safe control.
