But room acoustics definitely leave a lot to be desired so this is being given preference right now. My dealer also thinks he can solve it with a different speaker cable, but at over £700 into a pair of 23s, that cost £2400.....for me that seems overkill.
If your dealer feels that he can fix the issue with speaker cables (even if they do cost £700) why dont you let him?
Try them out and see if there is a solution because at the minute we dont really have a clear direction
Would you dealer be prepared to come to your home to give your system a listen? getting a second opinion would be really useful
I will do this as its a no brainer. The only thing stopping me is that I may consider new speakers too . Once I know which direction i am going then I will decide. New speakers was always going to be my next upgrade, but the 23s have served me well and in my room 14ft x 23ft, they may be as good an option as is practical
