You've definitely done your homework and decided based on the most important parameter: emotional connection and musical enjoyment. Well done!
Your journey has also been very enjoyable for me. Most of the times I would just check the forum to see if you had updated your thread! I guess the fact that the Olympicas where among your choices made it even more interesting for me.
Like any hand made traditional instrument their behaviour will greatly improve over time. Give them at least a good month of daily use and then start fine tuning their position. Which colour did you go for btw? Mines are the atypical graphite.
Let us know how the run in process goes pls. Oh, that dealer deserves a good bottle (or two) of wine! Wish I could find someone like that here in northern Italy!
