Interesting. I guess the desirability of these depends very much on usability, the quality of iPad control etc. Running USB to an asynchronous dac, they are probably going to sound much the same as AIR / Ethernet from a PC?
One point to note, the Auraliti does not appear to support ALAC, which for me would mean re-ripping many hundreds of cd's, which would be a little dull.
