Highest Possible Sound Quality from iTunes

Thanks for the info Dr Tone! In fact, it looks like my earlier post re selecting WASAPI in Quicktime was wrong, or at least well out of date. I have known for a while that selection of WASAPI can be found in iTunes preferences, and it looks like the link between iTunes and Quicktime has also been gone for a while. I never actually use Quicktime, I have just removed it completely, and iTunes / WASAPI AIR still works fine, completely unaffected by Quicktime's removal. Anyway, thanks for the heads-up, you may have saved me from all manner of peril! (Plus, it was nice of Apple not to let anyone know about this)
