Sure that's not the (possibly default) volume level on that input?
Either way - WiFi signal strength is not a problem for me either. Certainly rebooting the router helps but shouldn't have to since everything else (Squeezeboxen, tablets, etc.) carry on just fine after waking up (bit like me really
).
