Quite the contrary, without customer loyality there is eventually no brand if enough people move away, think Nokia, Blackberry and many others. Not saying Devialet is headed that way.
The way I see it, without competition there's no incentive for progress. If Devialet is what Nokia was, just imagine what the audio equivalent of the iPhone will be like.
