It's not even like UPNP is 100% reliable or straightforward, they would definitely be better to just fix AIR in my opinion. I assume there must be some other upgrade, I can't see anyone paying £1000 to get UPNP, never mind £3000!
I'll pay exactly ZERO for UPnP, but I might use it. I'd pay a little for a new streamer board if it supports RAAT. I upgraded my D-Premier to a 250 (240) for the standard upgrade price. I am not prepared to pay much for a new upgrade... The XMOS USB interface is not even properly implemented! (referring to the issue with microRendu) I never play from a desktop computer so AIR is not for me. If Devialet open sourced the AIR protocol Roon might support that and I'd be in immediately
