Sounds like the smartest move is to buy the cheapest machine you can find used at a dealers, and upgrade it. 120 would be a good bet, or a companion.

No. I decided that I liked the 1000 Pro so much that I thought I would get a nice new one. A slightly bonkers thing to do I know, but I am happy with the decision.
