Twitter is such a great way to follow your favorite manufacturers, music sources etc. I don't know why more music lovers don't use it.

I get my "on sale" tweets from prostudiomasters, acousticsounds, 7digital etc. Tweets about gear reviews from my favourite magazines and reviewers.

I quit Facebook quite a few years back as I got tired of hearing when old school friends were sad or hungry or bitching about the opposite sex.
