Just did the update on a lazy Sunday morning. There are subtle differences between the new firmware and the v9. The vocal is more solid with the image firmly planted in the middle of the park and a slight echoey tail at the end. The highs are slightly more airy and I thought there were more clarity at the high ends. I can't comment on the bass probably due to the music (non-audiophile: Il Divo / A Musical Affair) I was listening to could not demonstrate the additional control that many had observed.
