FW 10.0.5 is out... what's new?

Thanks Confused, good point.
A firmware characteristics (features + main sound differences) comparison chart would be very useful Smile

You need to use V10 firmware in the Pro to get the new ADH implementation.  From what I have heard and read, the new ADH offers a big step up in sound quality, so any thoughts of V7 sounding better than V8 or whatever simply don't apply to the Pro.

So the firmware debate for the Pro starts at V10, I'm sure history will repeat itself and we will have a much loved V17.1.3beta or something before too long. Shy

That's a good point actuallly. I'm assuming it takes a while for them to extract the best out of each new hardware iteration. So there should be improvements after v10.

Anyone know what firmware version we were at when the current (pre-Pro hardware) launched, and how long it took to get from there to v10?

I think the Devialet Pre-Pro started with V6.0 firmware in 2013. This is from memory, so might be wrong!

They don't but I've kept copies of older ones on my Google Drive. Check out the link in this post.
