Since you mention you'd buy from a dealer - why not start by getting a home demo of the models within your budget. I know you're looking for a lot of technical details for your setup too, but unless you like the sound of a Devialet, does any of it matter? Or is it not possible to demo?
(I speak as someone who has consistently done the exact opposite to my advice BTW, but even more reason to make the suggestion!).
