Most likely you only need optical to one Phantom. It will use ethernet to the other - either direct, like Reactors, or via the switch if connected individually. The splitter option will probably also work. You may have to disconnect ethernet to avoid a signal from "the other side". The splitter option might even sound a little better as the signal transfer is completely identical for the two channels...
