DJ Controller to DAC (or something?) to Phantom 1 pair

You'll need an ADC(analogue to digital converter) to convert the mixer output to digital. CYP has a couple of affordable solutions, I would have bought an old RME ADI-2 AD/DA or similar.

The output signal of the Avantree will be stereo, splitted by the spitter to two identical stereo signals fed to the Phantoms. In the Phantom web interface you'll choose which speaker is left or right.

I'm not quite following how that would work, as I only have XLR and RCA L/R outputs from the controller, no aux/trs output.
I would need XLR or RCA to aux converter I guess?
That doesn't really simplify the system though, just different converter.
