Phantoms delivered this afternoon

Hi Guys,

Lets work through these problems one by one shall we?

Mine are working fine, but I did have my problems so I may be able to help.

So lets start at the beginning.

Yes, I have a Dialog and it configured the two speakers.

The warbling sound will happen until the speakers are set up.

First thing, make sure you have your Dialog connected to your switch and plugged in.

Next make sure the Phantoms are switched on.

Next, VERY IMPORTANT. THIS GOT ME. Make sure your iPad, phone or whatever is connected to the SAME network via wireless. If you don't, the first part of the set up will not get pass the screen where it says 'Do you have a Dialog....etc"

Do that, and then we'll go on from there.

I did all that yesterday and got poor, intermittent sound from one of the speakers and OK from the other. I re-did the setup and it sounded fine for about 20 minutes to half an hour. Then Spark started re-booting itself, I think because it was trying to play a long high res track, maybe too big for it? My Dialog smells hot, maybe it overheats after a while and malfunctions.
Then I tried playing from a different computer. Spark looked like it was fine, found 2 Phantoms in the living room, but only one of them played.
Today I tried again and it worked fine for a while, but long enough to play a whole CD.
I tried a reset and new setup and then I had all sorts of problems with Spark hanging at one of 2 places, either during "setting up your Phantoms this may take 1 to 2 minutes", or earlier not getting past accepting conditions.

A single unit in mono sets up fine and works OK.
Everything is on the same network and generally the Phantoms both get found OK but then it stops.

I think you will find if the computer or whathaveyou isn't on the same network none of this could happen.
