Ian, I understand your frustration. I have had my share of problems with the 200/400 but fortunately have managed to arrive at a set-up that is (almost entirely) trouble-free in normal use. Or perhaps I should say I've limited my expectations to what I expect to work properly.
The question this prompts to me is: should those of us that have unresolved problems be complaining to our dealers rather than direct to Devialet? Maybe some arm-twisting from dealers would be more effective than our individual efforts to "get through" to Devialet and have some of these problems taken reasonably seriously. I must say I haven't taken that path yet so it's just a thought.
