I've been using SAM with the ATC SCM 40 V2 speakers since I obtained the speakers several months back. The ATC's are great speakers, but SAM brings them to another level. SAM fills out the bottom registers in an outstanding manner. The entire soundstage benefits quite nicely with SAM enabled. The bass has outstanding pitch and definition.
Contrary to what some folks have posted, I have noticed ZERO digital artifacts from SAM employment. If anything, it has made the sound from the ATC's improve in all areas, more natural sounding, if you will.
