Forgot about the phono physical connection. Turntable and phono preamp are turned off 99.9% of the time. The other .1%, I'm listening to vinyl which is a noise problem of a different magnitude.

Just put 7.1.3 back on for the first time since 8.0 came out. Certainly takes the edge off, need some time to get it in my head.
Hopefully I can get a 220 Pro this weekend for comparison.

Start listening after 30 minutes of playing music. Warmer Devialet) warmer sound![Smile Smile](https://devialetchat.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
7.1.3 is usually holter than 8.0 or 10.0. In my case it sounds best when class A temp. Is around 45...
The hotter the better yeah. That goes for any firmware even.
That's why mine is always on. Warm sounding right from the start.

I took a glance last night and mine was about 40 after using it all night. I must be lenient on the volume knob.

Got home and been listening at normal listening volumes for over an hour. Class A = 37 degrees.
Obviously my Sabrinas are rather easy to drive.

So what about sound with 7.1.3?
Warmer and a little more laid back. I'm going to still keep test driving alternatives. My dealer isn't responding to me anymore about demoing a 220 Pro, I guess the fact that I'd never buy it is an issue.

Like you I decided not "PRO" the 7.1.3 is very good. I wish my 800 had more power but overall it's very very good amp. Thx again for pushing the 7.1.3 for so long
