Any Reactor owners using MinimServer?
#1
Are their any Reactor owners using MinimServer to access their files on a NAS?

As you know, we, Phantom Premier owners, are your poor cousins who are just catching up, getting DOS2 and can finally use Devialet App. Before I upgrade, would like the assurance that someone else on DOS2 is using MinimServer and it is working well.

I suspect that many people do not know MinimServer, let alone try it.  If you own a NAS, it is likely there is a package that can be downloaded and installed. MinimServer manages the music library on the NAS.  The Reactor is the UPnP renderer or player. Control from phone or tablet using apps such as BubbleUPnPHi-Fi Cast (both Android) or mconnect (iOS).

Why am I using it?  Found that UPnP and MinimServer have better sound quality than Airplay and Optical, with a larger sound stage.  Also, MinimServer provided the ability to do convolution room correction (but needs hardware with grunt).

Do give it a try if you can.
