Anyone with Reactor Custom?

Has anyone tried the AES/EBU digital input? Any comments on general functionality?

Just heard back from Audinate support.
I asked if the ASIO interface for the Dante Virtual Soundcard would follow sample rates of music files. The answer is rather depressing:

"Yes, DVS ASIO will follow the project sample rate.
But nothing else will. So the Dante network won't be able to get the audio subscriptions until you change those devices to the correct sample rate."

...which means that if one uses Dante to stream to Reactor Customs the stream must be in the sample rate you have set up in Dante. It is relatively easy to change which sample rate Dante transmits, but what a hassle this would be with a normal mix of music files!
With Roon one can easily resample everything to the same rate before sending it out, but this is not always the best. Not all players can do this anyway. Let us hope AES/EBU on Reactor Custom is good - I am sure someone will try and let us know.
