Very interesting... according to Les Echos, Devialet first raised 15M euros in 2012 to commercialise the D Premier. Then in June 2015 they raised 25M euros to fund their expansion into the US and to miniaturise the ADH technology, hence the arrival of Phantom.

By 2016 Devialet had managed to double their turnover to 65M euros and break even! In just under a year they sold 30k units of Phantom. Not bad going!

Next stop 100M Euros to fund.... ?!
