What do you use for USB to Optical conversion?

There's been some conversations in various threads where Phantom owners used various USB to Optical conversion devices. But I don't think there's a thread dedicated to 'reviewing' or 'comparing' various devices.  

Love to hear what you are using, if you A/B compared two units side by side, and any other tips.
