Hi Aaron totally off topic (and I should know best!) but your speakers look amazing on paper! Any chance of a new thread in "Your Systems"?

And yes I appear to have Tidal working really well now, but it's taken another £4.5 component to get there! Yikes!

I would like to ask Aurender owners to share please the total and final price after all tax that you paid for X100L

I called local dealer that has Aurender and final price after all the tax that he offered me for X100L after conversion to $ is 3450$

i think it will be interesting to see if suggested 3500$ that i see at all websites that reviewed Aurender X100L is what your dealers selling to you as well or its differs from country to country and how big is the difference .

It's £3250 in the UK. Which looks expensive versus the $ price. (Equivalent to almost $5k)

I agree that UK price looks high - about £1000 more than the similar Naim Unitiserve which also includes an optical drive and ripping s/w (though Naim seem to have no intention of adding support for online music services to the Unitiserve). I had actually thought the Naim was about £1000 over priced  Confused

Still, the Aurender does seem to be a high quality product and by all reports sounds great so it must be worth considering.

Will do Guillaume. They are amazing speakers, and they look very cool in a mid-century modern kind of way. My system isn't much to look at because I keep everything but my speakers hidden.

Hi Stigmater, which X100L are you talking about. Earlier units used to come in 6 or 8 TB. Newer units and current offering come in 6 or 12 TB. And of course the prices will vary.

Mine is the 8TB and I purchased it for around 4000$

I checked the priced in the Netherlands:

X100S (1 TB): 3290 Euro
X100L (6 TB): 3890 Euro

In my opinion, that is not expensive, compared to what is delivered with respect to build quality and sound quality.

In order to directly compare with the Auralic Aries, Aurender also supplies a streamer, the N100. Price of this thing is 2500 Euro, compared to the 1500 Euro for the Auralic. I think these Aurender components have a high value for money factor.
