Aviation-grade Phantom II Custom announced
#1
News from the NBAA convention in Las Vegas...

Devialet and aviation supplier Latecoere just announced a partnership aiming at offering an aviation grade sound system for business aircraft, based on a "custom" (aviation certified) version of the Phantom II... See the related press release purpose of this Businesswire article. I'm curious to find more details as of how they plan to make the speaker(s) fit in an aircraft... there's no question that Devialet should have the expertise to create a custom amp, but the spacecraft shape of the Phantom must be quite a challenge to work with...

Devialet also quoted in an article announcing another similar partnership with Rosen Aviation, this time with a reference to a more integrated system (no reference to the Phantom) - read this article.

Now we know that Franck Lebouchard is CEO of Devialet (never heard of him before). Seems like most of those that started Devialet has been replaced.

Phantom II Custom is quite interesting by the way. AES/EBU digital, balanced analog and Dante inputs.
