Better power cables for Phantoms ?

Hi.
I wonder if someone already changed the stock power cables (mains) of the Phantoms with something better ... and heard some improvements ?
Myself I bought 2 x Audioquest NRG X2 IEC - C7 - but to my big dissapointment will not fit into my pair of 95 (the cable has a larger and bulby head at the part that should connect to the speaker, will not fit).

Phantom II require a smaller and longer neck to plug into, which many of the commercial available C8 plug may not fit. Moreover I have heard some reveiw said that the effect of power cord on phantom (I & II) is neligible. This may due to the fact the the bass performance of phantoms are already superiorly optimised.
