That's just a bit of fun but if you take a look around you will find a break-down of an actual Transparent cable which shows what actually is in one of their filter boxes. Is it worth the price? For you to decide
I think I'd pay $220 and at least get something that looks nice instead of hacking a solution together that looks like crap.
Can you buy Transparent speaker cable for $220? I'm amazed - how long is it 6"?
