It makes trial and error experiment very difficult as you have to remember on your own what config you were on previously.
In point 1 you say that the subwoofer isn't working with the Companion.
I haven't tried it yet (I probably will next Saturday), but I wanted to ask if you've connected the Master Companion as described in the manual:
If you wish to use your Companion device’s inputs, connect the two devices with a stereo mini-jack analog
cable from the in/out trigger connector of the Master to the RS232 connector of the Companion.
Did you make that connection?
