Dead phantom I
#1
Hi all,

Sincere apologies if this has been posted before (I did search but wasn't able to find anything conclusive) I have a Phantom I silver and after a while of not using it, switched it on and got a sort of silent "puff" and can't get anything out of it at all. It still connects via wifi but seemingly has no audio output.

Devialet support have been helpful taking me through steps to try to update software etc and other suggestions to remedy the problem but sadly to no avail.

I just wondered if this was a common issue with a known fix or if I really have to send back to Devialet and spend £900 (!) as its out of warranty and has a dink in one of the speaker covers so they want to do a full refurb on it... or if there are any Devialet "specialists" in/around London.

Any helpful advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Matt

Hi Matt, how long do you have your Phantom I silver?

Otherwise, you can look at this link: https://www.devialet.com/en-gb/repair-program/

You will find repairs for cheaper at Devialet. For aesthetics, it is £219 or £349 for electrical.

I'm not sure you can fix it around London as they hold the spare parts in France.

Hope it helps

Thanks for your reply. I've had it for several years and bought it second hand.

The £900 quote came from Devialet themselves via their repair program, £550 for the electrical issue and £349 for the aesthetics repair.

I wasn't sure if it might have been a common fault with a standard electrical part which could be sourced from RS Components but seems not... thank you anyway, appreciate your reply!

Regards
Matt
