Devialet streamer feature
#1
I have been visiting my Hifi dealer last week, he mentioned that Devialet is currently working on a fixture (200€ approx) that you will plug in the back of you Devialet (?) so you will be able to stream directly from an Ipad app.
Sounds like this will be replacing an airport express.

Did someone heard it ?

Sounds like a bad solution to me Big Grin  I dont see that a "Dialog" is a high-end solution connected via USB to an Expert amplifier. I would rather go with an Sonore microRendu and run that with Roon or DLNA.
Speakers:TAD CE-1. Amplifier: TAD M2500mk2. Digital: TAD DA1000-TX, Innuos Statement Next-gen, Innuos PhoenixNET.

Miscellaneous: Qobuz Studio, Ansuz Mainz 8 D2, Ansuz Darkz DTC, Tubulus Argentus ethernet cable, Tubulus Concentus USB cable, Tubulus Argentus V2 XLR cable, Tubulus Argentus V3 + V3 bass, iFi Nova powercables.

Second system
Qobuz Studio -> Devialet Silver Phantom, Devialet Tree

Any solution that forces the user to use a Devialet developed app is a crappy solution. IMO
Roon->HQPlayer->McIntosh C47->McIntosh MC301s>Transparent Super->Wilson Audio Sabrinas w/ Shunyata Denali, Rega RP8, Rega Apheta 2

Wow, it's literally like you read my mind! Wink

I'd say any solution that forces someone to use a Dialog, rather than address problems in other areas, is also a crappy solution.
