I understand that the new update does not live up to your expectations and I am sorry about that.

This Issue has been confirmed and explained by the technical team. This is a cosmetic issue in the app only. The Dione (if it plays sound) is truly playing Dolby content even if the app says it is not. We are planning to fix the issue in the next firmware update of September.

I would kindly invite you to wait a few more days so as to access the improved update of your Dione.

no sorry - My Devialet Dione does Not Play Dolby atmos anymore. All Dolby atmos effects have disappeared the sound is definitely in space upscaling mode (specially developed upmixing algorithm that upscales mono and stereo content into Devialet Dione 5.1.2 audio channels).

The sound is flat and imprecise - completely different from before!

SO I WOULD PROPOSE TO WAIT WITH THE UPGRADE!!!!

The automatic switch-off after the preset time does not work for me.

Meanwhile I got it not to loose the setting anymore. Maybe by reset to factory defaults by the GUI.
So it does not lose the LED setting anymore, but now the auto off does not work anymore.
It does not lose the setting for it, but as by your experience it does not  work.

Finally - time to say goodbye - Dione sold.
Form follows function and not vice versa.
Delivering such a minor upgrade after more then 2 years with such an amount of issues is not acceptable.
