Spotify has finally came out with lossless reproduction, and this is for us, owners of Devialet Phantom important.
And what now?
Will there be an update so the lossless playback will be possible, or will be left alone with incompatibility in the future?
For now, even the Google audio dongle does not support Spotify lossless by casting, so I'm quite

I get Lossless when I stream Spotify to some of my Phantoms. Curiously, I get it on my very old Phantom I whites, but seemingly not on my new Golds.
I assume you have the newest firmware on (all of) them and that they are WiFi connected, am I right? What is the difference between your setup of the various Phantoms?
BTW I have also the older Phantom I white ones and no lossless streaming...
I use the Wiim Pro on a Devialet 240 connected with optical and without any manual update it works like a charm !
Pro ears will say that it is limited at 44.1 KHz and it is true but the free update from Spotify is much MUCH appreciated !
So for those who expect to use spotify connect lossless I would suggest to get an external streamer like the Wiim pro or another and connect it to your phantom.
Connectivity has always been envolving rapidly so it might be better to get a dedicated device if you are expecting the **last** updates.

I have the same firmware on all of them. Now I get lossless on all. Silver, White, Gold. (four of each...)
