Does Phantom do gapless?
#1
After trying for ages to get UPnP to work with phantoms I am thinking of ways to configure my setup to use optical.
A big frustration with UPnP is live music and the gaps that exist between tracks.
Just wondering if this is down to the UPnP renderer or the DAC.
Is anyone using optical connection and is it gapless?
For me to use optical my streamer is USB so will need a USB B to optical converter and would like to hear what is being used if you have similar configuration.
Thanks

As long as the streamer supports gapless playback the speaker will play gapless through the optical input.

You'll find numerous usb to optical converters on eBay or similar sites.
