I'm considering getting a pair of Golds; an Ipad Pro 12.9" for visual remote control; and the Oppo UDP-205 player with an external library to the USB3.0.
Some people don't like the sound of the Oppos, I've read... but, since I'll probably have to use the optical out from the Oppo to the Optical in of the Phantom, I'll be skipping the Oppo internal DAC (so I've read), and using the Phantom tech.
Does anyone use Phantoms + Oppo UDP-20X?
Are you happy with this combo?
Any tweaks that will help/I should be aware of?
