My Dione is connected to my Sony Bravia 88” TV and does its job.
I finish watching tv and switch off and go to bed. Next time I switch on the tv the Dione does not recognise the HDMI connection and I need to reboot the TV everytime to make it work (very annoying)

Anyone else have this problem and know how to solve? I haven’t contacted Devialet yet.

Has this been resolved?  I have two Sony Bravia OLED's ... 65" and 77".

I am looking at this product, but I don't want to purchase if these issues still persist.

Hi everyone,

Still have the same issues. Just got a reply from the support today saying that they are not able to give a software release date. Last update was more than a year ago...
I have a Bravia OLED too and I have to reboot either Dione or TV or both everyday...

I have the same issue with a Samsung TV.  What I started doing is resetting the Dione via the web interface. It takes about a minute to reset. Curious if anyone has a better / different approach.

I ended up with buying a HDMI matrix switch with sound extractor. Using a QN95B Samsung.
But does not solve everything as the switch has not enough ports and there none with more then 3 input ports on the market.
So one  source is still connected on the TV.
The issues seems not to be only the Dione side. The Samsung seems still to have problems to passthrough LPCM properly.
After having such devices like Apple TV or my UHD Player connected via the switch the Dione detect LPCM properly.
But as  I need to use the source behind the TV I always have issue when switching between sources behind the switch and the one behind the TV.

Same problem with my Sony Master Series A83A90J, really disappointing, we can not allow such lack of support and malfunction at this price level, we are not bought a product of an unknown brand at a minimum price.

Same problem over here with my Sony Bravia 8 tv.
For such a device it gives a lack of support.

Hi, do you try to use a HDFury Arcana ? It permits to facilitate eARC use. https://hdfury.com/product/4k-arcana-18gbps/

Same problem with Samsun Q900 and Q950 as I have 2 Dione Bars. 1 classic one opera.
The support wrote me that only Samsung TVs are affected. After reading this looks like all TVs have this problem. And problem is not the TV!

After 18 months still no fix!!! What a shitty company.

Morre over, in the app you can only turn off the speaker AND YOU NEED TO DO A PHYSICAL POWER ON AT THE DEVice. To the devs, if they read this. Make a f***g REBOOT BUTTON IN THE APP.

NEW PEOPLE - DO NOT BUY TJIS TRASH UNTIL IT IS RESOLVED!
Frankly speaking, they will not resolve it as even after 18 months no fix!

What a waste of money.

Hey, it is possibfle to reboot the Dione via your browser in the mobile.

First go to the Devialet app and click on Dione, scroll down until you see the IP Adress for it. Now go to your browser and type in the IP Adress. Here you go you the tab to the right and scroll all the way down and see reboot button Smile

Want to give a bit more highlight to the problem.

The problem with HDMI sound happens only in Netflix app. I have alternative IPtv apps where the Dione works fine. Even when it hangs in Netflix you can restore it with the other app and go back to Netflix.

I have the same problem with my new 77inch LG OLED TV.
CEC still doesn't work and yesterday I had to install the Dione new, because it wasn't recognized in the network.
