Dropouts - Spark 1.6.3 and DOS 1.8.1
#1
After upgrading to Spark 1.6.3 and DOS 1.8.1 I've got a new issue that sound drops-out (goes silent) for about a second or so in one or both speakers sometimes . This problem seems to be intermittent - sometimes more often like every few minutes - sometimes not for a entire listening session.

It happens more often on optical inputs (using speaker optical input) than on other streaming but has been heard on both.

I've never experienced this on earlier software versions (have had my Phantoms about one year not altering the configuration).

Anyone that experiences something similar?

Are the speakers connected through WiFi, PLC or ethernet? I've had similar problems when connected through WiFi, regardless FW and Spark version. Have you performed a full factory reset of the speakers and the Dialog?

I can confirm the problem with the 1st gen. silver phantoms. The problem with the optical input seems to be solved but now the processing in the Dialog or Phantoms seems to have hick-ups.
It's not so often, that I'm embarresed but it should be solved.

By the way, still no gapless playback with Spark Sad

I have the same problem with a pair of silvers. Only does it with the optical input.
