Ethernet and WiFi connections...
#1
So I have WiFi enabled on my 440 Pro CI. If I plug an Ethernet cable into it with the WiFi still enabled, will the hard wired connection take precedence? Should I disable the WiFi to ensure that this doesn’t impact sound quality in the event it’s taking up cycles on Devialet’s processing boards?

I can only state what has worked in my setup: I use Roon on a NUC connected to my Devialet using the RAAT protocol and the 'Roon Ready' input on the Devialet.
If I leave Wifi and Ethernet both enabled, the Devialet will, at times, get 'confused'. I get drop-outs, or The devialet is no longer 'seen' by Roon, etc..
So: as I prefer Ethernet, I disable wifi in the Devialet config. No problems since then.
System: Roon on NUC, music library on Synology NAS, all connected via ethernet. Thorens TD-160 super (revised and restored) with SME 3009-III, Devialet Expert pro 440 CI, Marten Django XL
