I recently got a second hand Muon and plugged it into my system and can solidly confirm that it really makes a big improvement. Recommended indeed!!

I don´t want to be rude or question your listening impressions, but doesn´t the Muon Pro basically do the same as the DeLock 62619 which comes at a fraction of the price? I haven´t tried any of them, but from what I´ve understood the DeLock is used in medical environments so should hopefully be up to standards (although it comes in a not so fancy case...).

The best solution however, to isolate from whatever electrical noise caused by the surroundings that might occur, would probably be to build an optical bridge that will give total galvanic/ optical isolation (without any interference from a copper conductor), at the cost of ~ € 100.

Mikael

There are of course other solutions of varying technical complexity and at different price levels that adress the same or similar areas of audio streaming via a network. Please feel free to try the ones you believe in or are prepared to pay for.

All I can say is that the proof is in the pudding and I think the Muon Pro will be hard to beat.
