Expert's network handling
#1
Hey everyone,

On my expert 250 pro, hooked on ethernet cable to my network, everything used to work. Namely Roon and Spotify.
Untill i've added some kind of mesh network to increase network coverage in my place.

That mesh network is in another range. Meaning my wifi components are on x.x.80.x range, while ethernet are on x.x.1.x range.

Roon is no issue.
But Spotify connect wouldn't find the expert. So no Spotify anymore since then.

Any ideas, tips in solving this?

Thanks
Will

Try turning Expert power off for 30 secs, then back on again, then try Spotify connect.

Is there any reason why these needed to be 2 separate networks? If so then it sounds like you need to set up static routes between each network so they can see each other. One subnet makes life much easier if it's an option.

I got same problem with my Phantom and a new internet wifi router.
My mistake was using the wifi as a router. I turned it into an "access point" mode and everything solved.

Sorry for not updating... I solved it on my end by hooking up everything on the mesh network, so that all is on the same range.
Even has an access point i get a separate network. So that didn't work either. I did try powering off the Expert for a few minutes. Didn't solve.
