Hello,
I recently developed a dedicated Bluetooth interface for my Devialet Expert system, and I'm exploring the idea of offering it to others in the community.
The unit connects via SPDIF for digital audio transmission and uses RS232 to control key functions such as volume, power on/off, and source selection—fully integrated with the Devialet protocol.
At its core is a Qualcomm Bluetooth 5.3 chipset, from the latest generation of audio SoCs. It supports a wide range of high-quality codecs, including SBC, AAC, LC3, and notably aptX Lossless.
The enclosure is compact, plug-and-play, and designed specifically for Devialet D-Premier, Expert, and Expert Pro models.
The estimated price would be around €300.
Before moving forward with a production batch, I’d like to gauge interest. Would anyone here be interested in such a device?
Happy to answer any technical questions — and thanks in advance for your feedback.
Heartiest Congratulations on developing your Bluetooth device for users like me having my 440-Pro CI. Here are a few queries I have as below:
1. I'm only interested to have control of the VOLUME via your Bluetooth. [ I have no desire for digital audio transmission, Power On/Off or Source selection ].
2. How would your device connect to my Dual 440-Pro to provide me control of my Volume levels ? Please elaborate on the wiring connections requirement.
Thank you

Hello Val,
I am also very interested. I would also like to know a little more about the wiring and how it works in practice, for instance, my interest would be streaming Qobuz connect straight to the Devialet dac. Also, how much user programming would be required? I am of that generation where such things digital can be a challenge. Look forward to your update.
Qobuz, roon RAAT, Audiostore Prestige XL Optical, Synology NAS. Devialet Expert 250 Pro C/I. World Audio Design (DIY) KLS3 MkIII speakers, upgraded crossover and SEAS T25CF002 Millennium tweeters. Ethernet. Blue Jeans (Belden 5000) 10 gauge 5T00UP speaker cable.
I’d love Devialet to release more info about their API so that better remotes could be made available. €300 may be more than I’d be willing to spend, but it may also depend on what the unit would do, and how it would be available for interactions/automation, etc. keen to hear more.
How would your device connect to my Dual 440-Pro to provide me control of my Volume levels ? For Dual 440 Pro systems, connection is supported. Volume control is available only during playback.
how much user programming would be required? : Source switching is automatic: just name the SPDIF input "Bluetooth" and enable RS232 control
