Isolation transformer and balanced current outputs

Is the Devialet 440 Pro Dual designed to be connected to a mains conditioner with an isolation transformer that provides +115V, -115V, and ground at its output?

Or does it necessarily have to be live, neutral, and ground?

I don't think Devialet will have problem working with isolation transformers, whether it will sound good is another matter.

I do it mainly to protect the equipment and to have a cleaner current since I don't have a dedicated power line.
I stopped believing in hearing miracles a long time ago.

Does the Torus Power output current have the structure phase (+115V), phase (-115V) and ground?

I have received a response from Devialet Customer Service:

"Devialet Official Specifications: Devialet amplifiers, including the 440 Pro Dual CI, are designed to operate with both standard AC power (230V, live and neutral) and balanced power (±115V). Devialet’s power supply systems are known for their flexibility, allowing the equipment to perform optimally on either type of power.

Audiophile reviews and discussions on Devialet gear (such as the Devialet Expert series) highlight the benefits of balanced power for noise reduction, suggesting that Devialet devices perform better in environments where power conditioning, like balanced power systems, is used."

It is hard to conclude based on theory, you really have to try. For most power amps, usually going through isolation transformers may not be good, as these transformers usually are not able to provide the transient power (or current) necessary for just very short period of time during music passages that requires more power. Devialet being class A and class D hybrid does not draw a lot of current, so they are definitely easier on isolation transformers than most other amplifiers.

I am using balanced galvanic isolated transformers from Kemp HiFi Amsterdam. Balanced Isolator Source Pro 2000 for the Devialet 220ProCI and the Original D'Atelier as well. Since 2015 on Devialet. My complete HiFi installation inclusive REL Stentor is fed +115 and -115V. Super and a great difference. See my installation.
