Line in - best sound?
#1
Is a direct line in going to be that much better sound than wifi or bluetooth?

Any experiences/opinions?

No, that would involve an unnecessary DA-AD conversion. Wifi would be the best choice soundwise.

My interpretation of line in was an analog input, if you play music from i.e. your phone that would be an unnecessary DA-AD-conversion, if you play vinyl records it would be a necessary AD-conversion. If he ment digital line in, there would be no unecessary DA/AD-conversions.
