Having always been reluctant to use my lap top for my music playback I have always resisted this in the past.
As the CLIC is not digitally connected I decided to see if there was a difference in SQ. To my surprise there is. Its subtle though, but bass seems improved and vocals clearer.
Also the volume has to turned up quite a bit when using the CLIC compared to the JRiver software
So this is just FLAC files on my NAS fed using the JRiver software by Ethernet. Very impressive. A little fiddly at times but I guess I am a novice.
