Quick question for people who use a dedicated mono cartridge: do you set the phono stage to mono as well? Are there any advantages in doing so?
I use a low output MC mono cartridge, through a SUT into MM. The idea was not to have to go about and change phono settings whenever I switch with my stereo cartridge (also low output MC). But when I set the phono of my D120 to mono via the remote, it takes a while (10 seconds or so) and some fiddling about for it to really "kick in". Does anybody else experience the same?
