As of now, the Phantom Ultimate 108dB available for sale does not meet the requirements to be used in a home cinema system:
-> it does not have an Optical Direct Mode (and probably never will), hence latency is indeed going to be an issue on this version.
-> it is not yet compatible with Dante, our R&D team is working on a Custom version of Phantom Ultimate which will be Dante enabled.
At this point the info we have is that it will be a different model, hence I do not recommend purchasing ? x Phantom Ultimate as we cannot guarantee they would be convertible into the Custom version later.
The Custom version will be available through the first half of 2026, would you be interested that we keep you updated once it's available?//
